Use the RATES Strategy to Complete New Goals

This short article is to inform people to use the RATES acronym to consider the importance of completing any goal:

  1. Reason - To start and finish any goal, there must be a reason or several reasons why completing this goal is important and beneficial.

  2. Ambition - To complete any goal, you always need to be ambitious and positive when currently doing the task. Otherwise, you will lose motivation to complete it.

  3. Time - Every goal needs time to complete it and is not good to rush any task just to finish the assignment. If you rush your learning, you spend less time learning and researching new facts about the topic.

  4. Eating - When working, people need energy. One form of energy comes from eating food. No one should not continuously work or study for long periods. It is recommended to take a break from the task, relax and eat a meal or snack.

  5. Sleep - Everyone is recommended to sleep seven to eight hours every night since it helps reenergize our bodies and minds to think properly.
